7:45 am	Finally...an update!!! Hello everyone! I bet you had given up on me ever writing in this again, didn't you?! Well, surprise! It's early in the morning, Dan is still sleeping, and I have some free time, so here's goes some awesome updating! By the way, if you haven't heard, I'm ENGAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, that's right, like getting married!!! I love Dan so much!!! It was so awesome, it was the night before Thanksgiving, and we had gone to dinner in downtown Portsmouth, and he asked me outside after dinner, and I had no idea it was coming! I was so shocked, I didn't even look at the ring for like a whole minute...and when I did, I was flabergasted! (Good word, huh?!) It was everything I could have ever asked for, and all the effort he went through to get it...Im telling ya, everyone should be so lucky to find someone who genuinely loves them like that, because when you do, nothing else in the world matters! So, everyone keeps asking when the date is...like even the same night and next day, as if we had time to even think about it yet! It looks as though a spring 2006 wedding will be a good time for us, planning and money wise. We do have some ideas of where we would like to have it, but I am keeping that secret for now! Unless of course you ask me personally... So, yeah, I bought Dan a leather jacket for christmas, right. And I was SO excited to give it to him because it was perfect, really nice, and he wanted one, and never expected it. I really cant explain to you just how excited I was to give him this jacket. So, the other night he comes home, and he's freakin' wearing a leather jacket JUST like the one I got him. Of course I try to hide my surprise, which lasts about 10 seconds, then of course start to cry. I'm such a geek, and I was pre-menstral, so give me a break. His mom had bought him one, which looks just like mine, but was a lot less expensive. So, to make a long story short, he's keeping both because mine cannot be returned because I bought it on sale. So, yeah...Grrrrrr. So, have I ever mentioned that UNH sucks? Because they do. A lot. A REAL lot. They added like 10 more years of work to the nurse practitioner program I was looking to start next January...and Im pissed off about it! Why can't I just be a normal person with a goddamn career that doesn't involve a pharmacy?! So, apparantly the only way I'll ever get into this program is if I go through a separate RN program for 2 years first, which would start in September. Im gonna stick it out at the pharmacy, and Im trying to get a part-time job at Timberland...so Im gonna save lots of money I guess and try to either land myself a job at corporate with Hannaford, or a nice job at Timberland. And if that hasn't happened by the summer, then off to nursing I go. Yippee-firggin-skippee. Grrrrrr. Hopefully these science classes Im taking right now will not be a waste...especially anatomy, which is quite tough. Thanksgiving was awesome, we spent it with my parents and Dans parents only. It was nice for them to know we're getting married, though of course they had all known it was gonna happen anyways, and get to know each other better while scarfing down delicious turkey. His parents are so nice, Im really lucky! Well, I guess Im gonna wake Dan up, we're gonna get my ring sized today and possibly buy our wedding bands since they are big time on sale, and wrap some gifts. 9:26 am	Another update... What a busy week! Last weekend Dan and I took a pretty random trip up north for a day, and we did a little shopping, went on a gondola ride, and made sweet, sweet love on the top of the mountain. Ok, so maybe not the last part, but it was still a wicked fun time. I always have so much fun with him, no matter what we decide to do for the day. I love how he is just as spontaneous and random as me, it works out great :) I worked and had school most of the week...Tuesday was actually good since I got a 95 on my bio test and got to see Dan and his buddies play music down in Somerville...they are wicked good, I wish I didn't have class till 9 so I could go down earlier. Let's see...what else...we finally signed our asses up for the gym. It's a pretty cool gym, I saw one of my relative's there which was funny. I didn't talk to him of course, but I doubt he would recognize me anyways, then there would be a weird conversation to follow. I know you know what Im talkin' about! Yesterday I had the day off, and did some shopping and lunch with Dan and his friend John. Then I was lucky enough to have Dan leave work early and spend the afternoon with me. We got a new fish...let's hope he lives longer than one day this time...and we went to see a matinee...I heart huckabee's. WICKED waste of our time...really stupid. But It was still nice to hang out with Dan. Then we got lots of people together...Dan's co-worker's Pat and Tyler and his girlfriend Linda, John again, Scott and Leann, Leita and Shawn and Katie and Andy. Lots of people...it was fun :) Jackie and Rachid were sadly missed, but she's in California. Scott and Leann slept over in our "guest room" and now it's morning. :) Now we're gonna make some breakfast...do my homework, maybe some laundry...and go on a haunted hayride tonight with Tyler and Linda and who knows who else. I have to work on sunday...boooooo....but I make really good money on sundays, so I should shut my mouth. I just dread going there at times, I've worked there for like 7 years almost...thats ridiculous. Talk about someone who doesn't like change, huh? Oh well...I make the schedule and can work part-time and support my lifestyle...so I guess I'll stay for a while. Ok, time for breakfast...only 2 months and 23-ish days till disney!!! 3:44 pm	This one's for Jorge! I know I haven't updated in a while, and Im sorry! Im actually doing this at work (Doesn't that make you wicked happy Jorge? I could be doing real work!) so it's gonna be short! Well, moving is complete...thank heavens! Everything is set-up and moved, and the only thing left to do is more laundry...if we could get the new washer set-up this would be easier. I like Dan's apartment quite a bit, I am feeling more and more at home there as each day goes by! It's a huge step up from Lewis apartments! Work is so dead right now...Leita and I are bored! I am waiting for Dan to get here so that we can go to the fair and eat pizza and apple crisp :) Dan is the best, just when I think I couldn't possible love him more, I prove myself wrong :) Not much else is new...got to hang out with Erin the other day which was awesome...It was nice to catch up with her and remember how fun she is. I changed my email everybody...beckiet82@gmail.com...which has managed to get me a bunch of responses from people from my past...very interesting. 8:07 am	Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated this thing, huh? My cable internet never works really, it's always going in and out, so I swear it's not my fault :) Nothing much is new really...getting ready to move to Portsmouth at the end of the month. I can't wait to have a reminder of how much moving sucks! It will all be worth it though...of course I'll be farther away from work and school, but being closer to Dan definitely balances that out. No more packing and unpacking and driving back and forth...it will be nice :) Oh yeah! No more Lewis builders either! No more beer drinking, obnoxious neighbors! Hooray! Also no more kitties :( My grandmother will be taking them for a while. I started school again yesterday...only to go there to find out the class was cancelled because the professor needed to have a root canal. We got our syllabus and went home, which was fine with me! I'm looking forward to class with Leita on Tuesday nights, I don't get to see her as much now. Ok, I need to utilize my day off properly, so I'll update this again probably closer to when I move out :) (Comment on this)

11:24 am	day off So, today and tomorrow are my days off...kind of annoying actually, since I have to work Saturday and Dan doesn't. However, we have a lot of fun things to look forward to this weekend...like going out with work friends, going to a free concert in maine, and going to six flags. Somehow, even though I only work 30 hours a week now, I still remain very busy. My friend Chris is back home from Iraq, and I don't know when we'll be able to get together...and then there's nathan, who I promise to go out with every week and I always end up not having free time. I know it's because I spend a lot of my time with Dan, but I can't help it...he's very addicting! Speaking of Dan, we have decided to take a trip to Florida in January. He's never been to Disney and it's time he finds out what he's missing. We got a suite in a Disney resort, anyone wanna come along?? So far Leita says she wants to go, and Im hoping Jackie and Rachid will come around and go with us! I love Disney, I would love to work there, doing something exciting in their corporate offices! Maybe when I get to be about 55 and want to work, but can retire. Who knows! I've recently been selling all of my old textbooks on amazon.com...as well as some unwanted dvd's and things. This was definitely something I should have done earlier...I paid the rent this month by selling so many books! I highly reccommend it! Ok, time to go do something productive... (Comment on this)

11:56 pm	Wide awake and bored Ok, so I was reading through my friend's live journals, and one of them convinced me that its a good way to keep people updated about what's going on, so I thought I'd give it a try. Right now I'm in Portsmouth (as usual) at Dan's place, which is soon to be my place! He is sleeping, like most people at this hour, but of course I'm awake. I just can't sleep lately! I want to so badly, but there is so much on my mind, and I think too much. So much is going on...I finally met the love of my life, and even though I am with him everyday, I can't help but think about him and dream about our future together. He makes me so happy...he truly completes me. I start school again soon, which leads to starting grad school, which leads to a whole new career. I finally have chosen a track...and Im not changing my mind! I'm going to do a nurse practitoner's program at UNH, and I can't wait. Dan and I have decided to live together, starting this October, which only makes sense, since we have spent the last 101 nights together. I have no doubts he is the one for me...trust me, I wouldn't make the mistake of moving in with someone again if I wasn't 100% positive. He's responsible, intelligent, fun and kind...it's going to be great to not have to pack, unpack, pack, unpack... Still working in the pharmacy. I don't particularly like it, but it pays the bills and my friends work there. I wont be able to find much else to work around my school schedule unfortunately. There's crazy tension there, though...I leave so tired and stressed out. Thank god I have something to look forward to at night! I realized today that I miss some of my high school friends. I drove by the school today and thought about those years and the people and the memories. I hate losing touch so easily. I'm going to try and make a point of keeping the friends that I miss. I really only see Jackie now...and I rarely see Jen, or Adam, I never talk to Erin anymore...and I always see Joni and Nikki...but the conversations seem so forced. I know this isn't their fault, I need to keep in better touch. I just can't always keep up with it. Well, Im going to try and get some sleep now. hopefully at least 6 hours...
